Interdisciplinary Studies Programs gives students options that no other major provides: a chance to take on multiple
disciplines to broadent ones scope of thought. What I have found to be the most relevant aspect of this degree is the
ability to put different schools of thought together to promote wiser decision making.
I chose to become an interdisciplinarian attempts at several different majors at four different Univiersities.
I continued to become less motivated as time passed with each of the majors I chose because the range of information
I was taking in became less interesting as the course work became more specialized. This very idea is what sparked my
interest with BIS. In this field of study, I have been able to concentrate on several different schools of thought,
while still working toward that common goal of graduating to the professional world.
